I was still using the Advanced System Care until the other day I went to update the program and ended up with the blue screen of death twice, so I uninstalled. As far as Iobit Security, it never was anything special and I'll def never use it again after this fiasco.

Get outta here, what a load of utter shite!
My test of 327 of less than two month old up to very new samples with no rogue installers included as I couldn't be bothered going to that archive.:

Let's not be biased. Franklin, you're a malware hunter at Malwarebytes, no wonder MBAM has an upper hand on your collection.

Which is completely voluntary and which I enjoy doing.

Funny thing is Iobit detected way more of those samples a while ago. ;)

And to that I'm very grateful good sir :). Um, I prefer not to comment on your second statement. Let the two companies settle that on the proper channels.

lol that made me laugh, i know IObit had to remove the sigs and all, but by removing them and having such a drastic change in detection in such little time is just BEYOND incriminating... :D

I suspect that a lot of users dumped the app. Maybe there are people using Security 360 but not talking about it? ;)
    I'll never use it again.

"Out of 150 samples MBAM detected just 6 malwares.
The detected malwares are shown in the figures.
MBAM showing scanned objects as 290 which includes 150 malwares and 140 folders."

MBAM will never show a high detection when scanning a collection of inert malware this way.If on the other hand you were to execute those 150 samples and then run a scan I'll wager you'd see a very different result.

    wow cool results. :D
Because im using MBAM pro for about more than 1 year.
I fount it very useful against rogue softwares and many other malwares such as virut. I like its Ip blocking very much.
In my test i was shocked to see the results.

But iobit is not lower than MBAM or any others. Because it provides many features for free including Real time protection.

    "Get outta here" you said.
HAHAHAHAHA ........ that was nice joke.o_O

Same here too got 1 year license of IOBit pro but will never use it.

    Yeah thats right.:thumb:
Even many AVs are not able to remove rogues as effectively as MBAM.

This dispute ~ Snipped as per TOS ~ . I had purchased a license for IObit Pro two days prior to this ordeal. Malwarebytes ruined a perfectly good application that was better than theirs. Did they steal their "intellectual property"? I don't care. It was a good program that Malwarebytes ruined.

    Malware Bites didn't ruin anything!
IObit is responsible for their own actions. If it was better than Malware Bites, why does it's detection rate suck so bad after they removed Malware Bites detections database?

99% of the members disagree with you and that's what matters. I never did or will ever use Iobit products!

I think this thread has become A( mbam) vs B(iobit)o_O
No doubt this will be closed .

Both are great products. Just remember no product can detect 100% malwares.
If any 1 needs a free product with realtime protection, ill definitely recommend Iobit. But for a paid product Its MBAM :thumb:

Maybe you should demand a refund ?

    From IObit, not MBAM. :p

Apparently they are also way more OK with threatening physical violence than they are with intellectual property theft . It kind of reminds me of the "death to all fascists" bumper sticker I saw a while back but of course that guy was intentionally being funny .

On a serious note I don't think any reasonable person would say we started this and and far as we are concerned it is over . There is nothing we can do about the haters and we are OK with this .

Anyone can grab samples , anyone can track down any version of IOBit and anyone can draw their own conclusions . If that is not enough for them then so be it .
