    Greetings everyone,
Upon looking in my Yahoo history I was pissed to find a porn site (listed 5-7 times) listed there. My girl was none too happy either. Now the question is this, how the heck did that get there? I can honestly say I did not access it nor did my fiance, so how did that happen. More importantly, how can I prevent that from happening again? Thank you for your assistance.

You may have simply visited a semi above board site seeking ad revenue. If by chance you have lax browser settings, semi XXX ads run from script can definetly exist on pages. A lot of sites that use certain ad servers, will have an endless number of different ads appear if the individual sat there log enough and refressed his\her browser, which who knows what kind of good\bad ads one could gather in their cache.

1- do you require a password to login and?
2- does your screensaver invoke login after it has been interrupted?

I have read some stories about the prefetching function in firefox's extension "fasterfox" causing links to show up in the browser history. However, the dev of fasterfox claims this should not happen.
