    Wonder if this advancement will compete with or complement Kaspersky’s patent (see here and this thread)....

    Just a few point to think about:
    Hardware has vulnerabilities too as Joanna Rutkowska and others have demonstrated.
    I don't see how this will work with "legacy" software.
    There will always be software with intentional backdoors, design flaws, MITM, weak cryptography, social engineering and so on.

    It's laudable that Intel is working on advancing security, sadly this is marketing BS, we'll have to wait for technical details.

    Yes. It might change the money game, giving them more money. Otherwise every thing wil be same i guess.
