Intego have released VirusBarrier X6 and InternetSecurity X6 For the Macintosh

    Not many Mac users here but here you go :).

    Intego announced today that they have released the X6 versions of their security software.

    Find more info on the new technologies that is included in the X6 version below.

    I think it would be fun to se how well these new technologies actually works in real-time. For example the Proactive part!

    Oh god I found it before but not now hmmm...

    It has a Behavioral feature anyway, wich works in a proactive way :rolleyes:


    However, I do know for sure that the X5 version had a proactive feature and I don't belive that Intego has taken that part out but maybe just re-named it to something else.

    And I have to say that I really like the new interface of VirusBarrier X6 a lot better!

    Well it's more like they bundle it with their own software via a
    Partnership with BitDefender. So it's not incorporated in the gui of VB, it's a standalone AV that is supposed to be installed on the Windows partion on your Mac, in VmWare fusion, Parallels etc...

    So you should only buy the DualProtection suite if you have intention to install Windows on your Mac, or already have Windows installed on your Mac.
