Will using Yahoo instant messenger with a wireless router (with NAT) reveal your internal IP address over the internet like using P2P file sharing software? Any difference if using group or individual instant messaging? How can that be blocked?

My understanding is that the NAT-part of the router separates the internet from your LAN, so your internal IP's cannot be send over the internet.

There are people on this forum who can go into more detail than i am if you need conformation.
