It should give you the option to choose the installation path.

    Is D your system partition?
how much space is left on c:?

At any rate, it is Windows Installer itself that performs installation. I'd suggest checking the location of temporary folders.

no it doesnt give the installation drive option.it chooses "c" itself and stops automatically the installation.Look, "c" is the System Reserved for my Win7 and on "d" i have installed xp.so i can't install ESET on 'c"

Are you sure? In advanced installation mode, you should be able to select the drive and path.

Download an offline installer instead of LiveInstaller, it will allow you to run installation in Custom mode where you can change the install path.
