Pardon me if this has been posted, I didn't see anything. :p

Does anybody know how to import mail/contacts/etc... from incredimail to thunderbird?

I'm new to thunderbird and thought I would try it out. If not, I'll just go to OE.

    Thanks friends :)

    Hi Capp,
    Try Incrediconvert. ;)

Edit: It only exports your messages to EML which you can import in Thunderbird, so I don't know how you can export your contacts. :doubt:

As far as i remember, there is an 'import' command in the menu of Thunderbird.

Good suggestion and TB can import EML files, but not Incredimail messages (= proprietary format). :doubt:
That's why you've to export the messages first.

About exporting Contacts, maybe have a look at Incredimail's FAQ's.
Never done it, so I'm not sure how it works. ;)

I think that is not necessary to export the contacts. Try first the 'import' command in your thunderbird menu bar and choose the appropriate application.

Don' know if you ever got what you wanted but thought I'd add in here that I did this not too long ago. Here's how you do it.... Open your Incredimail program. Go to "File"..."Export"..."Contacts"...and save your contact list to a convienient location. It saves as a .csv file. Then open Thunderbird, go to "Tools"..."Import"...check "Address Book" and (next). Choose "text File (LDIF, .tab, .csv, .txt). In the window that opens to find your file, select "Comma Separated (*.csv) and select the ".csv" file you saved earlier. That should do it if you havent already gotten it done...

Be sure to check out your registry. The last time I use Incredimail, it left a whole heap of junk in my registry, that I had to manually clean it out (no regcleaner would help)

Not only the registry has to be cleaned out. It also leaves several folders on your HD.
IncrediMail is known for this crappy uninstall. :doubt:
