    I suppose there will always be that vast wide gulf between the developer and the end user. Since they are running their own tests in their own abstracted worlds it`s no wonder the flaws are soon apparent in the real world.

    My brother was a programmer in the 70`s and now hires and fires system analysists. It was only a few years ago that I persuaded him to go into a computer store and buy a laptop which he would`nt be without now.

    Back in the 70`s I also was into to the pratical application of computers only to the extent that the elastic bands holding the numerous punch cards together made for a great catapult/sling shot.:ninja:

    Abstraction vs the real world.

    Great read Ron, though my brother dioesnt have red hair the rest of the illustration is spot on.:p
