BitDefender Professional had a false alarm on this virus on August1th, 2002.

As a result, BitDefender Professional might have detected "IRC-Worm.Ebrusex.A " in clean files on some systems.

Either of these alerts are false. IRC-Worm.Ebrusex.A virus is not in the wild. IRC-Worm.Ebrusex.A is a laboratory virus and it does not represent a threat for the users. It was never widespread.

    Removal:

To get rid of the false alarm, update to the latest definition files. The problematic update was released at 01:23 GMT on August 2nd. It was replaced with a fixed update at 08:52 GMT on the same day.

SOFTWIN would like to apologize for the trouble caused by the false alarm.
