This coming from a guy who test samples against a scanner with no real time protection and then complains about it. Come on man seriously.

His results are similar to every test I have seen of IP. It is easy to bypass.

I dont think that was the point. When only testing 9 or 10 samples any AV can fail on any giving day. One day a AV can pass all 10 and then the next will fail. These types of test are unreliable.

Maybe so but if you watch enough of them from different people, and do some of your own testing, you will see a group of AVs that consistently perform well, and some the consistently stink.

BTW - do you think a test where they use 5,000 old viruses, and all the tested AVs score in the high 90%s is more important than a test of zeroday threats? The tests against zero-day is where you will see the real differences bwteen programs.

Uh huh, well, we've been over this already. That program was not represented as just a scanner and their options don't say that either. Of course though...we can't all be perfect like you. But thanks for your post.

No, not really, but some of us like to respond to being attacked. And that is certainly what it felt like to me. I mean whatever, if you don't like the testing I do, that's fine, but it doesn't make it any less relevant to what is happening out there on the Internet. I'm sorry, but if an AV consistently provides poor protection against even 10 zero day links, what can you really expect from it on a full time basis on your machine?

Many AV's I have tested, even in the smallest of samples test, have proven themselves over and over and over again, while others continue to fail.

Again though, it's easy to question and even ignore the tests from myself as well as others who have been doing it for quite some time, but the tests speak for themselves, over and over again.

I was also considering it Fake AV and scanned it via VirusTotal, but it was clean.

Why bother? What can Immunos do that other well known AV's cannot?

And did anyone else notice what it says on Softpedia in their description?

"The program offers great detection and removal abilities and can usually identify viruses that had been missed by the other scanners."

    YEAH RIGHT!! LOL

There are only two reviews, so that is not saying much at this point.
