In the last announcement on Scientia for our testing cycle of 2.0 we mentioned; “At this point we will start pushing translations and partner builds out, expect those to start showing up in July and continue through to September.”

This means it’s time to find volunteers to the translate parts of the application. We have already been offered translation of the UI by several supporters and we thank them very much but because of the time spent to improve 2.0, aren’t we sure who will be available or even who volunteered. Therefore we like all the great supporters who want to spend a couple of hours (at maximum) to translate the UI, send a mail pedersen@immunet.com so we can make sure who wants to translate Immunet into what language. Everyone who volunteers will be provided with a free 1 year Plus key to Immunet and will be credited on Immunet's homesite (at your discretion as per your wishes around privacy).

Documentation will not be translated at this stage because of the sheer effort involved although it is planned for languages which get a strong response. Currently we will be translating the UI itself and the text strings displayed within it. Our current volunteers cover Japanese and Danish but if you wish to help those default translations but more help in those languages is certainly welcome.

We expect the translation to start late June or early July. It will continue until somewhere in September. The translation will continuously need to be updated by its translator to keep new functions fully language supported.

I like to thank you all in advance.

    Best regards
    The Immunet team and Pedersen.

Nice you are experienced then. I have no experience yet. I have also expressed my wish to translate Avast at their forum. Don't know when will they implement it.

I have great knowledge in English to Swedish translation. I'm not sure I possess the tools to translate the application though. I an willing to do it, however.
