BurnCDCC is excellent. There is also some free version of Ashampoo Burning Studio floating around that has a decent iso image burning (with verification).

 

thanks but as i mentioned earlier ashampoo does not do cdtext properly. burncdcc is good for certain things but not everything

 

Sorry, I thought you were just looking for a .iso burner. Besides Ashampoo, I use 2 other burning engines : CDRwin9, from a German publisher. And Burnaware, which I find excellent (I have a Home version). Too bad Burnaware doesn't verify a burnt .iso image (yet), it is close to excellence.

Well,since you've tried the portable version of ImgBurn,did you also try changing the I/O driver engine @ the settings?

FWIW,I don't know if it will work with your os,but Padus DiscJuggler is capable to handle cd-text.
Unfortunually,developement is dead,but you still can find it on the .net.
AFAIK,the demo has no time limit,but it burns on the lowest speed setting your drive supports....
