Is it possible for Nod to protect an IMAP email pop3 account using port 143? I see in IMON how to change the port, however it does not scan incoming email.

    Cheers :D

Hi Blackspear, It's curious nobody has answered this question because it must be a reasonably common scenario. I've raised this before, asking whether NOD supports scanning of multiple ports and what the syntax is, ie 110,143.

No response last time. Let's hope for better this time around.

    Hi guys,
currently, IMON supports scanning POP3 only. In the future, we plan to incorporate support for other protocols as well.

Thanks, Marcus. I'll stop fretting about this for the time being, then!

    Marcos, thanks for your reply.

Question though, what use is the port default of 110, it can be changed, but obviously to no effect? o_O

    Cheers :D
