Does anyone use IMAP for e-mail? How well does it work with NOD32?

I use IMAP as well as POP3 and IMON does not, as far as I can tell, scan IMAP incoming emails.

This is correct, I use to use IMAP, and Nod32 doesn't support it presently...

    Cheers :D

    Thank you Howard.

Does AMON react to infected e-mails?

I am probably the wrong person to ask: I haven't received an infected email either via POP3 or IMAP this year, which is longer than I have been using NOD32. (All my mail is scanned before I receive it)

I access my mail at work from home via IMAP4 I do not have any details about the server and doubt I would understand them if I had :)

    Hi !

Im Using Thunderbird as well two IMAP Servers with Secure Imap (Port 993). As mentioned above, is there any possibility to let NOD scan those email files (Imon -> POP3 oder HTTP) ?

this is actually one of the few downsides of nod for me. I have been using imap since I was able to do so (3-4 years now). I never use pop anymore.

I wish eset would add some imap capabilities to nod32 :(
