image software for imac ,what can i use?

    hi
    sometime i use an imac and macook and macbook pro , is there a image software trustworthy ?
    under windows i use image for windows/linux and macrium reflects

    and how can i perform an offline restore ?

    what do you suggest ?

    If you google, you are always told to use Super Duper! or Carbon Copy Cloner.
    In reality, these are all lame.

    The best all around disk imaging software for Win/Linux/Mac is the free Clonezilla live USB. Download the "alternative stable" branch (based on Ubuntu), AMD64 ISO, then use Rufus to make a boot USB. Use UEFI disk layout for UEFI systems.
    I tested personally on both my iMac and MBP, and the live USB works great. Best of all: it allows you to perform a clean offline backup and restore of the entire OS.

    i googled i tried carbon copy but honestly it ìs unless
    how can i boot via usb stick on imac or macbook without messing up them?
    i keep the power button (on the macbook it was a problem) keeping pushed the option key
    sometime start and let me use an usb stick several time boot in normal way
    it 's work on restart , but i need a cold boot
