    IFW is a wonder application.

Thanks for opening this thread now, coz I also have some unanswered questions about its fonctioning, particularly with its Phylock integrated component. I know there are some very knowledgeable folks about the TeraBytes' great line of products hanging here around. I'm a rookie with this gem but, like you, I also want to study and learn it to be able to use IFW to it full potential.

And good luck with FD-ISR too, a shame that the all featured version is no more available to buy for you, but it's another story and I prefer to keep this thread on IFW topic from now on...

A new version of IFW/IFD was released yesterday. I haven't updated yet.

    Change Log:

    Version 2.30 - April 28, 2009

Added automatic restore option where user doesn't need to choose the target or options.

Added bc option to maintain backwards compatibility with the TBI file created (files created with this version are not backwards compatible).

Changed newly created differential backups to be able to find the base file (in same folder) automatically when selected for restore/validate.

Added ignore option to unable to lock message on restores to attempt forcing the handles to be closed and volume locked.

Change to always ask what to restore so user can tell what partition is in a single partition backup (without having to use /L or the description).

    Added summary dialog.

    Other Misc
