Product : Acronis True Image 8.0
    Platform : Windows 2000 SP4

My Windows image appears to be corrupted and my computer won't boot.
I'm trying to use a True Image 7.0 boot disc to recover an 8.0 image.
Note that I was never successful creating an 8.0 boot disc because I got
errors on every attempt. Also note that I'm trying to restore the image
    from an external hard drive.

The issue is that when the restoration utility gets to the "Partition or
Disk to Restore", the only choice I see is "Empty". How can I get this
utility to restore my C: drive?

    Hello mj01,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Could you please create Acronis Bootable CD with the latest build (889) of Acronis True Image on the other computer and try to boot from it? If you cannot create bootable CD with the latest build, please let me know the error message you get.

    Thank you.
