if nis2009 was installed with uac turned on and i disable it

    should i reinstall nis2009 or does it not matter?? some programs dont work properly after turning off uac if they were installed with it turned on i have found? just curious. thanks

    This does not answer your question; however, you might like to try the new Norton(Symantec) User Access Control tool from the link below. NUAC allows you to keep Windows UAC active and get rid of the continuous annoying alert windows. NUAC has a "Remember my response" feature, which if checked when an alert window comes up, stops future alerts for the particular program. Works great with Vista SP1. You don't even have to be a NIS 2009 (or other Symantec pgms) user to utilize NUAC.
