    Hello

I seem to have an odd issue. Ever since installing Security Essentials from time to time my IE 9 favicons will just vanish on the tabs, and a generic blue ie icon will be there instead.

Opera and Firefox seem to be fine.

I have version 8.0.1.173 of Security Essentials installed.

    Thanks!

Could you let me know what websites this is happening on?

    Thank you!

    Hi

Pretty much all websites as a rule. Such as Netflix, Amazon, Weather Underground, etc.

At first, the favicons seem to load. Then after time, they just vanish and all that is left are blue ie icons.

For the time being I removed Security Essentials just to see if this issue would still happen, and thus far the favicons in IE are perfect.

    Thanks.

Edit- Looks like I spoke too soon. The issue is back.

If it's back when WSA is uninstalled, then it's probably not WSA causing it. :\

True. I first thought that it was. But, even when it was removed, I still had that issue.

Anyway, I love this security program. I've been recommending it to everyone that I know. One of the best purchases I've made in a while.
