If I correctly understand the Identity Shield is a kind of sandbox. However there's a tool in WSA called SafeStart Sandbox, so does it have sense to run a browser that is put in Protected Applications in the sanboxed environment. Will it improve or more tighten the security?

Can you shed more light on how SafeStart Sandbox works and what makes it different from Identity Shield?

That's why I posted the link because your Question "If I correctly understand the Identity Shield is a kind of sandbox." as it has nothing to do with Identity Shield.

You don't need to put browsers into the SafeStart sandbox as they're already monitored. It's effectively the opposite of the Identity Shield - protecting the OS from the application rather than protecting the application from anything running on the OS. Many programs don't work in this reduced-rights environment so it's purpose is primarily for testing programs to see if they're legitimate or not.

I'll clarify more later but I'm just about to jump on a 24+ hour long series of international flights... :)

OK thanks for the clarification. However I wasn't the first to name the IS as a some kind of sanbox, I took this simile from the Webroot Community where it was stated by staff (I can't recall now who said it).

Yes :) But first Germany, and after England. I'm expecting to not sleep for probably the next week.

:) Once in Vienna at AV-C you won't be too far from my residence (not more than 280 km) so I can offer you bed :D
You're about to travel a lot so take care.
