Wordpad has Words icon. Not sure that it's a file association problem as WP opens it's own files as does Word. Iv'e tried going the tools >folder options > file types, route and changing things there and still cant get its icon back. The shortcut to WP has the right icon, but the .rtf documents all have Word icons. Ive tried the "open with" > "always use the selected program to open this type of file...." and that doesn't help. Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this?
I've tried it myself with no luck at all. From everything I was able to find out it's impossible. Very strange.
