I used to, in the days, install OS/2 to run CICS\OS2, and the AD\Cycle tools such as Bachman.

What did you find that is running OS/2? Other than the backwater ATM or shop floor application, I thought it was mostly history.

    LOL

Was given a copy and was curious. Will probably throw it on a spare hdd in my break-me tower. Just hope my hardware is`t too new. ;)

I guess IBM still releases patches\fixes for it. From what I have read it is at v4 and has been there for several years, since 199x. Right now my biggest problem is finding Odin. The Linux equivalent to Wine. Every link I have found is a dead end.

Nothing found running it. Was given an ISO CD and managed to find the boot floppies to load it.

Read that IBM still releases patches for it though active development stopped many moons ago.

    Just can`t find Odin. :(

I may still have stiffy floppies for OS/2 V1.3ee around here somewhere. I know I have the IBM internal tools disk still. For what that is worth. It would probably take me quite awhile to find it, though. Have to hire an archaeologist to dig for it.

The boot floppies are still available online. No problem there. Have also found references to the IBM tools still being available for d\l.

Having trouble finding a working link for Odin, Windows emulator.

Should work in a vmware vm under experimental but if I recall virtualbox supports it - but I'm not sure.

Correct you are from the reading I have done.

May give that a try if a normal install fails.

Did find the most recent version Odin and grabbed it. Now just need to find the time to try it. Like when the house is empty and quiet. I can be a real bear  when in the middle of something and I get interrupted.
