    I want to offer web-based email from my website to users who sign up for it. Preferably a free solution. All I seem to come up from people is "Squirrel" .....Anybody know of any other decent options? (I'm not a Squirrel fan.)

    Horde Imp.
    My sme server comes as a complete internet server with horde imp webmail. Okay for me.

    Have a look at hotscripts (this link points to the php solutions)
