and another.. thinking of my chweety.... (this one have not been posted before by me ..i feel)..

    Thoughts

    The days were smooth
    The nights were fine
    And they became more beautiful
    Once u became mine.
    Thoughts of yours
    Took me to paradise
Whenever u were not in front me
    I just closed my eyes.
    It was impossible for me
Not to think of and about you
Coz love and care that u have given
Could b given by very few.
Now that I spend my days
    When you r not beside
    Tears I can suppress
    Feelings I can't hide.
    Yes, time have become winner
    To take you away
But that victory is too fragile
    Coz u r with me everyday .

    Hi y'all!!
This thread is for interesting sayings and other things we want to share.
so i dug it up from the caves of this forum.

These days many people are rather troubled, depressed, worried.
I today went out to post a letter and walking back home shocked, seeing 3 cars had been burned down by vandals so close to where i live and i hadn't heard a thing this night/morning when it happened. Why never, why is it coming so close?

I felt shocked and worried and more, and back to my pc found a forwarded link. Just came in a few moments before.
    Here it is.
    http://www.youarethelightmovie.com/thelight/TheLight.html

t's a movie to look and feel and go back to again and to share.
This is not intended spam, you can subscribe to the happy newsletter too. Think many people these days can use this uplifting.

    Thanks for your patience.
Hope more people will share their beauties in this thread again.

    Stress Management

Stress Management A lecturer, when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked, "how heavy is this glass of water?" Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g. The lecturer replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it."

"If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance. "In each case, it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes."

He continued, "And that's the way it is with stress management. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on." "As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden."

"So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down. Don't carry it home. You can pick it up tomorrow. Whatever burdens you're carrying now, let them down for a moment if you can." "Relax; pick them up later after you've rested. Life is short. Enjoy it!

And then he shared some ways of dealing with the burdens of life:

v Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.

v Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

v If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

v If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

v Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

v The second mouse gets the cheese. Or; look before you leap.

v A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Wonderfull Primrose! thanks for posting this!

I was sent to another page earlier today. You can play the music, read the story, use it as an exercise, whatever you like.
    http://www.geocities.com/connector_1/lake.html
It does have real deeper meaning.
For copyrights reasons (maybe) i only give the link.
It's about a lake in the wood and a snake.
In spiritual traditions, snake represents awakening wisdom, coiled energy etc. I guess that's why at ego level, there is such fear of it! Not bad, by any means- but a danger to a sleeping ego.

This is my fav, just love the words, always make me feel good......

    Bold As Love
    by Jimi Hendrix

    ANGER!

He smiles, towering in shiny metallic purple armor.
Green jealousy, envy waits behind every door, her fiery Green gown
    snares at the grassy ground.

Blue are the life giving waters, taken for granted,
    they quietly understand.

A once happy Turquoise army lay opposite and ready
but wonder why the fight is on.

But they're are all bold as love
    they're all bold as love
Yeah, they're all bold as love
    Just ask the axis

My Red is so confident, that he flashes tokens of war
    and ribbons of euphoria
orange is young and full of daring
but very unsteady for the first go around.

My Yellow in this case is not so mellow in fact I'm trying to say,
it's frightened like me, and all these emotions of mine
keep tolling me from giving my life to a Rainbow like you,

    But I'm A...yeah
I'm Bold as Love, yeah, yeah
Well I'm Bold, Bold as Love
    Hear me talking
    I'm Bold as love,
Just ask the axis, he knows everything.

    Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...............

I was just thinking about friends--this worlds only true treasures and remembered this poem

    Portrait of a Friend"

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts,
or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will
    search for answers.

I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain,
nor the future with its untold stories.
But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can't keep your feet from stumbling.
I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.

    Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;
Yet I can share in your laughter.

    Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you,
and help you when you ask.

I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,
    from your values, from me.
I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.

I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,
    room to be yourself.

I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces
and put them back in place.

I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be your friend.

Thank you for you: for who you are,
    However far away;
And for the words you send to me,
Near mad for what you say.
    Knowing simply that you're there,
    Yet thinking much of me,
    Opens up my happiness,
    Undone for all to see.
