I need someone to help me to choose: GesWall or DefeneseWall HIPS...

I need someone to recommend me GesWall or DefenseWall HIPS (newest versions of both programs), what are differences and weak points of both programs, and do I need antivirus or anti-malware programs with either GesWall or DefenseWall HIPS?
What are your experiences?

they're both great apps.

one advantage DW has over GW is that it is actively being developed.
i don't think you need a real-time AV with either of them.
just scan the few odds download with either MBAM or Hitman Pro.

make sure you have an imaging plan.
being able to restore a clean image should be at the very top of the list of any malware fighters.

 

Have never tried Geswall, but have been a happy user of DefenseWall for the past year. Great protection and great support.

 

Personally if I had to choose one I would choose DefenseWall. Great and simple to use product last time I used it. Plus very good tech support if needed.
