I know it's been beaten to death but...

Did anyone succeed in useing KAV's X_Bases with KAV 5.0 personal or PRO?
I mean the X_bases NOT the EXtended bases.

for pro it is undoable at the moment, simple cos pro uses a slightly different format and updates from folders called updates50 instead of just updates, and thers no updates50_x - yet, and using the old format updates_x with pro simply isnt working

but for personal its doable, albeit awkward. u need to set your kav personal to update from local folder instead of the internet. and of course, you will need some kind of automated thingy that downloads the x bases to your local folder before kav kan update from the folder. scriptftp can do just that (google it) and with a bit of messing around you can get a fully automated x-files update with kav personal
