    here in my country you can buy mobile prepay internet. just got it today. you don't have to produce any ID and you can pay cash. It is impossible for any one
    who has got my IP address to track me down because there is no such paper trail or electronic trail leading to me. Gives me such a warm and fuzzy feeling. never thought this was gonna be possible in todays world with big brother.

    It's because you don't know my country Brazil. Here mobile prepaid internet (or cell phone chips/sim cards) sells on the beach for anyone without identity hehe

    This does not mean you can't be traced. The provider can save logs of your connection (or capture your network traffic). Also, it can be done triangulation from the point of radio frequency to get where you are.
