I made a backup using Paragon Hard Disk Manager 12. The backup was from a Raid 10 using 4 500GB drives. I am trying to recover to a single 500GB drive. I run the recovery media and recover both the 100 MB System Reserve partition and the C: partition. When I then try to boot up on the hard disk it starts to boot up to the point I get the System Starting message with the 4 balls starting to move around to make the symbol and at that point it re-boots. It then repeats that sequence again and again.

    What should I try?

The RAID of 4 disks means that the part of data blocks is stored on first pair of disks (1 and 2) and the other part of blocks is on another disks (3 and 4). So it’s not possible to restore only one disk from the RAID because data will be recovered incorrectly.

It’s possible to restore full RAID to the appropriate size one disk.
