Hyper Threading is a joke!

    I have just concluded a test of 20+ days with it on after 20+ without it. I have seen nothing but problems and slowdown with it on. My computer runs much smoother without it and boots atleast 2x faster than with HT. This HT is nothing but a ploy to sell spu for more $$ IMHO. :(

    Pardon my asking, but what exactly is hyperthreading supposed to be?
