    Thanks for the article gerardwil.

Instead of just fixing existing flaws, why doesn't M$ hire a bunch of crackers whose job is to break it using all their tricks, and then provide advice on how to prevent it? That way M$ would be one step ahead instead of three steps behind.

Microsoft published a KB article about all kinds of problems regarding SP2.
The KB articles also has a list with third party software that may have a problem with the SP.

Everyone seems to be saying, "wait"....I understand that, but plan to install as soon as it's available to me. I am obsessive compulsive about imaging my drive. I keep my C Drive with nothing but OS and programs. I point all data for these programs to a partition on another drive. I keep 3 or 4 "good" images at any given time. One, with just the os which I call my pristine. It's my "perfect" setup after a clean install and security, speed and other "safe XP" tweaks. I then have one (that I use most often) with all of my main programs. If anything goes wrong, I just crank up Drive Image and drop the last image in - problem solved.

I said all of the above to tell you why I plan to use SP2 asap. If I run into any problems with incompatibilities (or anything else) I can just put the last image on and I'm back to where I started. Those who haven't yet found the beauty in the "always perfect" configuration that imaging provides: This could be a good time to start!
