My Internet Explorer is running VERY slow these days and I believe its due to ****://localhost:9100/proxy.pac

I went to Internet Options, connections tab, and under my Lan settings I tried to uncheck the use of that proxy. I then OK the settings, but when I come back to it, its there again.

PLEASE someone help, I went to another site that said they could help buut I had to pay 10 bucks for the answer.

hey actually, I found out what it was through a little google. For future reference, it was a glitch that google web accelerator has. Somehow it kept pushing that one proxy which was hard to find, so my internet had to really squint to keep up.

Hey actually (there's an echo in here :D), it was one or the other.
That you referred to it's persistence, combined with IE's poor performance, I chose the baddie. If you got it worked out, then we're good.
