Thanks, but nothing worked and http://any-find.com/index.htm is still my web page. I have tried everything, Trend, Norton, McAfee, Adaware, Spyblaster, and all the ones you gave me. Still this a a few porn sites are in my favorites column that KEEP coming back and back and back and back.

    Hi Motogroup,

Did you follow the suggestion of Snowbound and downloaded HJT?

This could certainly help experts to advice you the best cure :)

    motogroup,

You are part way there, you've started a thread in the adware, spyware & hijack cleaning sub-forum, but you need to download HijackThis, run it, and post the log in that thread.

Your other thread is here - add the log to it:

Okay, I have tried everything under the sun to download HijackThis and I can't seem to make anything work. WinZip keeps going in circles and circles and when I go to the HijackThis site and press, Download here I keep getting the same page over and over.

So what's next? The "http://any-find.com/inded.htm will NOT GO AWAY!!!!!

Nor will, "http://free.hcworld.com, http://free-spy-cam.net, http://web-cams-chat.com, and finally, http://getthis4rree.com" all located in my favorites column and other things pop in there once in a while.

Oh, and each time I run spyblaster and delete the problems and I immediately run spyblaster again and they are all back. Something is WIDE OPEN on my computer and I don't know what.

Next step is to purge my hard drive and start new.

any-find.com/ is a variant of the CoolWebSearch hijacker.

    If u can't download HijackThis,

then download and run CWShredder here,

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=14086

and let it fix everything it finds.

Then try and and post a HijackThis log in your other thread.

At first I thought "http://any-find.com/index.htm" was gone, but no, it is back and does not seem to want to go away. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

We really need you to run HijackThis and post a log, there is no other solution. Here is a different link to the hijackthis program, which is an EXE file not a ZIP file. Right click on the link below, save it to a folder on your system (not the desktop) and double-click it to run it.

    HijackThis.exe

Well, I'm not sure exactly what you are cleaning with HijackThis. What we wanted you to do was post a log of what it finds in the other thread you have.

Okay, but, there are so many things after I run Hijackthis that writing them over again will take all day. I can't copy them as Hijackthis won't let me. There is something to do with Microsft word as well.

How do I get this information copied to the thread?

The "Save log" button will let you save the entire log to a text file...

Since you have posted your HijackThis log in the other thread, and because this thread here has nothing to do with Javacool's products, (which is the section it is in), I'm closing this thread and will remove it later on.

Please continue to work in the hijack thread over here:
