how well does nis2009 do with http virus'

    i mean from what i understand it doesnt have regular http scanning or am i wrong? has anyone tested how well it does with an ifected web page yet? or infected active x as part of a page yet? this is the only thing i worry about now using it.. just curious

    NIS2009 as part of anti-phish protection already checks each page for vulnerabilities and a heuristic scan of the contents.
    If you install Norton SafeWeb, it will also check the domain for any history of malware/malpractise.

    But Norton 2009 does not have a full fledged HTTP scanner. So if anything is missed by Norton SafeWeb/Anti-Phish, it will have to be downloaded and stored in your Internet Temp.Store to be detected by Norton.
