how to use broadcast

    hi,

    I try torun an multicast sever and client on my computer. When i am not cannected to the network it works fine. But when i am connected the server work using the fix IP adresse (ADSL). But the client does not receive anything. I can see the connection but i got some problem using the bradcast adress.

    It is possible to braodcast from my computer when i am connected on the network. Do i need specail hardware or not?
