    Hi,
I bought True Image 2009 and Disk Director 10 for my backup needs.
I was able to create a bootable USB disk with Boot Image Builder. It boots up nicely as well.

But now I have a different requirement.
I have set a 250GB HDD as my backup HDD. All my backup are created on a partition on this HDD.

I craeted a 500MB primary partitiona s well so that I can install some form of OS and Acronis Sofwtare on it to boot. I donot want to use CD (to risky as media can get scratched) or USB (too slow) options.
Is there a way to use Bootable Media create option to install boot softare into this 500 MB Hdd.
I know I can install a Linux flavour on the 500 MB partition and boot into it. But then Acronis is not available o me. As Acronis is too user friendly, I would be happy if I can use that one.

    Cheers
    Amod

Check lne 4 of my signature below. MudCrab has a tutorial to install Acronis TrueImage Home iinto one boot partition and any other partitions can be used as data partitions. The drive would boot directly inito TrueImage Home via USB.

Grub4DOS can also be used to easily boot Acronis software from a hard drive.
