How to Upgrade a Laptop hardrive

I also am trying to clone my old 100GB laptop drive onto a new 320GB drive. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T61P, and have already created a backup image via my Acronis Image Home trial software onto a desktop system on my local network. I'm just not really sure what to do next. Help?

 

Do you know which software is being used? You would need to be a brave man to use it without knowing the type of software and what it could/couldn't do.

With your brand of laptop, you must do a reverse clone which is to have the blank disk in its intended boot position and the source disk in another alternate location. Perform your procedure when booted from the TI Rescue CD.
