I know there is a say if there is a will there is a way...
So here I do like internet explorer. I would like to use it but I am missing the following extensions:
    1) No Script (SBIE?)
    2) ABP (AdFender?)
    3) Flashgot - no replacement ever found here....

Flasgot allows me to download any flash video from any website. Doesn't matter where I am. There is a lot of dedicated youtube downloaders but these only work on youtube.
Any ideas? Or should I just stick to FF...

There's a program called Freemake Video Downloader. It got favorable mentions by a lot of people. But I heard some shady rumors about the developer. If you want to try it then I suggest you test it first in Sandboxie's locked sandbox. And to add the scar, it's an adware. ;)

Other method: just use IE for browsing and use FF with Flashgot to download flash.

I'll leave a link just in case if you want to try some stuff out:

What is your actual question ? You can use IE & Moz side-by-each.
Moz add-ons don't play nice with IE save a few exceptions.
