    They totally fail to mention how to setup wireless, how to configure and secure your router.

    That is a short coming of almost all wireless networking tutorials. I do know with Linksys equipment there are some security options offered on the CD. Personally I do not use the CD`s. Have always preffered setting it up manually. However for the Novice user of wireless, they are either totally lacking in knowledge of the dangers and the ways to circumvent them, or, attempt to learn it, become over whelmed, and just settle for what worked = the default settings. :thumbd:
