Suggestions welcomed on how to schedule a backup when there is just one account on the XP Professional PC and I have no wish to have to type a password in each time I start the machine. Can I avoid having to enter a password somehow ?

    Thanks.

    Hello eugeneg,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Could you please clarify what version (build) of Acronis Software you have? Also please note that if you haven't got a password you should not type it when you create a schedule task.

    Thank you.

The first thing to try is to leave the password field blank. This worked for me with TI 8 Build 937.

Same here. I just left the field blank and scheduled B/Us work fine. 1 user, XP Pro, TI 8 937.
