Ok i'm well versed in computer but this thing is driving me crazy.

I have a dell optiplex 320 which has only USB ports and NO PS2 ports for the mouse or keyboard.

Basically i created an image on workstation 1, loaded the TI workstation 9.1 agent and workstation program, created an image and stored it on my server which has the management console running.

Now i went back and created a bootable Rescue media and burned it onto CD, first things first on the initial screen where it asks you to go to windows, load the agent full, load workstation full and safe the mouse and keyboard work, when i go to any option after the program loads depending on which option i choose i lose control of my mouse and keyboard so i cant select anything which sucks

Second i went into workstation safe mode and for some reason that's the only place the mouse works and when i go to restore image it asks me to get the file but only give me the C: drive of the workstation to select from, which is kinda weird, how do i select the remote location that has the image?

Thirdly somtimes when Acronis tries to load i get the following:

    Loading, please wait...
    usb-ohci.c:USB HC TakeOver failed!
Trying to vfree() non existent vm area (f8a92000)
-this repeats 5 times and hangs
    -anyone know what this means?

Way too many issues to deal with, i've tried to fix it with at least 20 reboots ... Can anyone help? All i want to do is copy an image to a second workstation which is waht this product is suppose to do.

Safe mode will not let True Image see the network, only an internal drive. To get Full mode working try some of the workarounds in the FAQs.
The usb error is because the Linux environment that TI runs in does not support your usb chipset. The way around this is to create a BartPE cd and include the True Image plug-in in it. There's a whole thread in the forum on how to do this.

    Hello satsun,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Workstation Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure you use the latest build (3887) of Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation. To get access to updates you should first register your software. Don't forget to update all components and recreate Acronis Bootable Rescue Media after updating.

If updating does not solve the problem, please make sure that your keyboard and mouse are enabled in BIOS.

If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

Please create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If you're not able to create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) then please do the following:

    - Boot your computer from Acronis Bootable Rescue Media and press F11 key when the selection screen advising you to select either "Full", "Safe" or "Boot into Windows" option appears.
    - After you get the "Linux kernel command line" prompt, remove the word "quiet", click on the OK button and choose "Full Version".

When the screen stops scrolling please write down the output information you receive (last 5-10 lines), or use a digital camera to make shots of the output screen. You can use Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn keys to scroll the screen manually.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
