How to disable auto update of NOD32?

    I was wondering if there is a way so that I can disable the auto-update function of my NOD32 every time I connect to net, coz sometimes internet speed here are slow and I think it shares the bandwidth downloading that I could not surf fast. I just want, if possible ...to update virus signatures manually if internet connection is fast.

    go to advanced mode...
    tools- scheduler: remove(or edit to change interval) tick of update..

    Does downloading a few kB (usually < 10 kB) really slow down your browsing? Is it worth not having protection against recent threats?
