How To Create an Extended Partition?

Hi Folks,

Does any one know how to create an extended partition on an external disk using Paragon Partition Manager 10 Personal running under Windows XP SP3?

Have created 3 Physical Partitions on this external hard disk. Would now like to create a 4th as an extended partition and fill it with logical partitions.

The sofware seems to have tick boxes for primary and logical partitions but can find nothing for extended partitions. The help documentation talks about these scenarios but does not explain how to set one up.

Any help would be much appreciated.

 

This is just as easy to do inside of XP's Disk Management.

Just create one or more logical partitions. They will be created inside an extended one.
