    Hi,

well the easiest way is to switch firewall to Interactive mode before using the application. You will be promped if you wish to allow/block traffic for incoming/outgoing traffic. If you will see that you are being prompted by that application simply set allow always and rule will be created.

These rules can be modified later on.

Alternatively you can access advanced setup (press F5 in the main window of ESS) and navigate to Personal firewall section. Then Rules and zones > Edit rules and zones > Setup. Here you can add NEW rules, and define the application that should be allowed/blocked.

to learn more about firewall modes read this: http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2118
