just bought a copy of Acronis v8.0 and have a question. I have a internal 80g S-ATA drive and would like to back it up to an external 80g via usb2. My external drive is IDE. I have used Ghost v9 and I get an error that says "Cluster not allocated". I have been told its because the drivers of my "c" drive (SATA) drive have been copied over to the IDE drive.
    can anyone help me out.

Can you not just make an image and store it on your external drive? Then you don't have to use the whole size of the USB drive and its possible to use it to store other things to.
