How to Completely uninstall ESET Smart Security?

Is there any KB issue to remove ESET Smart Security 4.0? I'm having issues trying to uninstall 4.0 and found the 3.0 version http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?pag...earch&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1238596854469. Is there a 4.0 KB version?

 

Search for revo uninstaller and uninstall it with that.

 

I use Your Uninstaller!, works as a charm, done it don't know how many times (v3 installed/removed, v4 installed, back to v3, again back to v4), works every time.

As Elapsed said, Revo is also very good, just a matter of personal preferences.

You can try using this KB from the ESET website: "How do I uninstall or re-install ESET Smart Security/ESET NOD32 Antivirus? (4.0)"

If you follow through with all the steps in the KB and you want to delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ESET and C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\ESET, you may have to enable the viewing of hidden files and folders: Start>Control Panel>Folder Options>"View" Tab>"Show hidden files and folders".
