how to clean USB port

    does anybody know of a gizmo or a way to clean USB ports (hardware port)

    Just use an isopropyl alcohol or any clean alcohol above 70% and do not turn on the computer, until it dries out completely.

    thanks for the reply but how do you clean the contacts inside the port or the terminals on things like pendrives or anything else that plugs into a usb port, and eventually tarnishes and reduces or doesnt make contact

    Hello,

    Apply the alcohol with a Q-tip, or a coffee filter wrapped around a popsicle stick.
