How to check my firewall got active?

    I want to know that it is my firewall active coz when i check in ESS4 it wrote active but when i use another problem to check it said "unknow".Also i recommend my friend to use ESS4 but why his everyday signature update is slower than me?same signature but when update it slow than me...why?

    What Eset says on its state matters (and it says it is active). The other utils not so much

    Maybe he has a slower Internet connection than you do?
    Wich could possibly lead to a slightly longer download time.

    Or he might got some connectivity issues with his ISP or DNS provider.

    actually how long it take to update a new virus signature?Is is around 10-20 second?

    right. If it wasn't it would have told you both on that page, as well as the pop up and changing the colour of the icon to orange. Probably less time to update, consider size of the update

    reevesloh, overwrite your ESS with latest version

    already update to latest version just wanna make sure my firewall turn on only =b
