I updated the nod32 to latest virus defination database, later I want to uninstall nod32 and then reinstall again from the previous nod32 setup.exe file, I don't want to update the whole again throung online, is there a way to backup the virus defination database? like kaspersky just import the whole base [*.avc]?

    Thanks...

personally, I'd update from the internet again - but I think you can backup the updfiles folder - however, I'm just guessing....

    C:\Program Files\ESET\updfiles

I'd say there is a very real risk that something elsewhere has been updated, I'm sure an Eset person can clarify in due course.

    regards
