How often is the outpost pro update?

So how many attacks did Outpost miss in that test?

 

Just thought if Outpost hasn't been updated for a while and the beta testing is still going on for the new release will it work with SP2 as it is only a few weeks away and some of the updated firewalls have been patched to cope with SP2

 

Please check the Outpost does not work with Windows XP SP2 RC2 build 2135 and above thread for more details. The last update was that Outpost 2.1 worked with SP2 Release Candidate 2.

 

Thanks for that link best not install Outpost just yet as I most probably will be installing SP2 before Outpost is fixed. Interesting about Sygate although I do know someone who has installed running Sygate with RC1 & RC2 so maybe that was just a glitch.

Looks like SP2 although it has gone through a lot of testing is still going to hit our firewalls and other security Hopefully Outpost will fix the issue soon as I am sure others will be installing SP2 soon after the release date.
