I voted for once a week, although it's somewhere between that and once a month. I am ready to trial Diskeeper 2010, so I anticipate that number increasing with their Real-Time Defragmentation feature. :)

Not often but easy - they're both less than four-point-five G's.

Windows 7 is set to defrag the hard drive once a week with Windows own Disk Defrag tool. Used to use Diskeeper but was tired of the constantly running proces in the background (you could turn off this feature)
and that my AV software at that time always detected Diskkepper as a rootkit. (zonealarm extreme security)

I defrag a system probably twice while I'm building it and once more when it's complete. After that, almost never unless I make a lot of changes. My PCs change little and the hard drive contents change even less. The temp folders, browser cache, and similar items are on RAM drives. The operating systems each have their own partition, as does a shared swap file partition. My system partitions don't get fragmented so there's no need.

Boot defrag every Saturday, Background Defrag after 5 min of system inactivity, and manual defrag any other time I want.

Ultimate Defrag work quite fast after you've done all the configuration and first defragmentation run.
